Rowena V. Wilson-Sampson-Kromm, age 95, a resident of Hoquiam, died at her home surrounded by family on Christmas morning. Mrs. Sampson was born to the late Chester and Rebecca Wilson.

Surviving family members include five children: Lloyd, Doneen, Debbie, Theresa and Vernon; fifteen grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren; her sister Isabelle; brother Raleigh, and her faithful dog Ruby, who has to be given partial credit for Rowena’s long life.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Sampson, husband Walter Kromm, stepson Steve Sampson and siblings Lawrence, Vern, Jack, Rose, Bonnie and Nena.

Because of Covid-19, a celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date when it will no longer pose a health risk for our loved ones.
