In loving memory we say goodbye to Ronald Franklin Dhooghe.

In loving memory we say goodbye to Ronald Franklin Dhooghe, an extremely loving, kind, gentle man, leaving behind his wife of 53 years, Evelyn Marie Dhooghe, daughter Jeannie Braaten, brother George “Hop” Dhooghe, grandchildren: Kelly and Corina Braaten, great-grandchildren: Spencer Fuher, Hayden Fuher, Kadence Braaten, Adam Braaten and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother Elsie Bauren, father George Dhooghe and brother Norm Dhooghe.

Ron passed away at the residence where he and his wife lived at Brookdale Assisted Living in Ocean Shores on Sept. 28, 2020, of natural causes.

Ron served in the National Guard as a corporal E4 for three years and was honorably discharged in January 1954. He loved fishing, hunting and picking trilliums with his grandchildren, Corina and Kelly.

He spent his career working in the forestry business, loving every moment.

There will sadly be no services due to COVID.
