Robyn Sue Sweet-Smith, 45, a Westport resident, died June 7,2021, after being struck head on in a collision on her way home to Westport.

Robyn was born in South Bend, Washington to Larry and Janet (Raffelson) Sweet. She grew up in Westport and graduated from Ocosta High School in 1994.

She married Scott Smith on July 21, 2001, in Westport, Washington. He resides at the family home.

Robyn went to work for Hoquiam School District. She worked for 20yrs in various jobs. She switched jobs and became an In-House Substitute Teacher for Hoquiam School District. After obtained her Bachelors of Instruction from Grays Harbor College in 2020 and was working on obtaining her Master’s with Western Governors University this month.

She enjoyed playing bingo, taking her daughter shopping, date nights with Scott and being with family.

Robyn is survived by her husband of 19 years, J. Scott Smith of Westport; a daughter, Brooklynn Smith of Westport; and her mother, Janet Sweet of Westport.

There will be a celebration of life and potluck on Saturday, July 10 at 1 p.m. at the Ocosta Rec Hall.

Arrangements are entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen, Washington.
