Robin A. Amlin

Robin Ann Amlin passed away peacefully at her home in Montesano on Saturday, July 4, 2020. She was 71. Robin was born Jan. 5, 1949, in Portola, California to Wilbur and Margaret (Olsen) Rowse.

Robin Ann Amlin passed away peacefully at her home in Montesano on Saturday, July 4, 2020. She was 71. Robin was born Jan. 5, 1949, in Portola, California to Wilbur and Margaret (Olsen) Rowse. She graduated from Portola High School in 1967 and then earned her bachelor’s degree in geography from Chico State University in 1972. That same year she moved to Grays Harbor.

Robin worked for Grays Harbor Medical Bureau then Regence Blue Shield from 1989-2004. She had also worked for the Shoalwater Bay Wellness Center in Tokeland from 2005 until she retired in 2011.

She was an avid sports fan. Robin never missed her grandsons sporting events or school activities. She cheered on those boys rain or shine, day or night! Robin walked daily and was known to many around town. She always had a smile on her face and cared deeply for family and friends.

Robin is survived by her daughter Nikole Hill (Justin) and two grandsons Spencer and Mason Hill of Aberdeen, Washington; son Mike Amlin of Montesano, Washington; her sister Janice Holland (John) of Greenville, California; two nephews Darrell Holland of Chico, California and Chris Holland (Kiersten) of Reno, Nevada.

Robin was preceded in death by her parents and her niece, Stacy Apley.
