Robert “Bob” D. Hamilton, age 91, born in Porter, Washington and a life resident of Elma and McCleary, Washington, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2025.

Bob retired from the Elma Public Works in 1988. Bob enjoyed various activities throughout his life. He was a little league baseball coach with his best friend Burt. He enjoyed using his backhoe in various jobs for friends and family. He loved fishing, boating, hunting, poker nights, family get-togethers and walking his many dogs through the years. His greatest joy was his granddaughters Kelsey, Haylee and Mesha.

Bob is survived by his wife Ruth, sons Mike and Marty, granddaughters Kelsey, Haylee and Mesha. He is also survived by his sister Karen and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his first wife Punky, his son Morey (Moe) and siblings Darrel, Irene, Belva and Terry.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at 2 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Elma. Sandwiches and beverages will be provided, guests are welcome to bring a salad or dessert to share.
