Robert Allan “Bob” Wetzel, a resident of Oakville, passed away on Dec. 11, 2023, in an Olympia hospital at the age of 69.

Bob grew up in Hoquiam and went to Our Lady of Good Help school and graduated from Hoquiam High in 1973. He attended Grays Harbor College studying auto mechanics and later worked for Boeing Commercial Airplanes as a mechanic and plumber. He also worked as a driver and clerk for Wesco, a paint supply company. He liked tinkering on cars and also loved to work on computers as a hobby.

Bob enjoyed family get-togethers and loved joking and laughing with family and friends.

Bob was the youngest of four children and has gone on to be with his parents Catherine and Charlie Wetzel and brother Chuck Wetzel. He is survived by his sister Marilyn Donaldson of Rochester and a brother, Tom Wetzel of Surprise, Arizona.

Bob chose to be cremated and no services will be held.
