Richard ‘Rick’ Stanley Regan Jr., 55, lifetime resident of Aberdeen and former computer engineer, died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2020, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen, Washington.

Rick was born on Jan. 27, 1965, in Aberdeen to Richard Stanley Regan Sr. and Ann Marie (Bunney) Regan. He graduated from Hoquiam High School in 1983 and received his associate degree from Grays Harbor Community College. He then attended Western Washington University.

Rick worked for Arm, Inc. of Olympia and prior to that worked for the State of Washington, Department of Information Services.

On Aug. 8, 2003, Richard married Trina Lynn Knight in Aberdeen. She resides at the family home.

Rick enjoyed strategy and role-playing games, photography, Sci-Fi, star gazing and spending time with friends.

Rick is survived by his wife of 17 years, Trina Regan of Aberdeen; a daughter, Brittany Knight; his mother Ann Regan; a brother Troy Regan (whom has the same birthday as Rick); and a friend of 51 years, Stephen Luce of Olympia.

There will be a memorial service for Rick at the family home on Oct. 12, 2020, at 2 p.m.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.
