Raymond passed away on July 19, 2020, at the age of 80 surrounded by his family.
Surviving him is his wife Arleta of nearly 57 years; daughters Teresa Seaman of Elma, Washington and Kimberly Ehly (Dennis) of Aberdeen, Washington; three grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Raymond was born in Aberdeen on Nov. 18, 1939. He grew up in Elma and went to Elma school. He served six years in the Navy, worked for the Centralia coal mine, Satsop nuclear plant, and the National Park Services where he retired in 2002. His favorite pastimes were fishing and volunteering at the G.H. raceway for 30 years. Raymond was inducted into the G.H. Race Hall of Fame in 2013.
At his request, there will be no services.
