Patrick Donnelly Atkinson of Ethel, Washington passed away Dec. 15, 2023, at the age of 74.

He was born in Raymond ,Washington on June 20, 1949, the son of Charles and Irene Atkinson. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Michael.

After attending school in Menlo, Washington he graduated from Grays Harbor College and The Evergreen State College.

He then took additional classes at South Puget Sound Community College.

He married Marilyn Grimes on Sept. 7, 1974.

He worked as a security guard in Aberdeen where he was injured on the job.

He was then employed by social services for the State of Washington. He enjoyed acting, genealogy, camping, traveling, fishing, his pets and his horse. He is survived by his wife Marilyn, twin sisters Gwen Atkinson and Gail Wyman of Olympia, and nephews Todd Terry and Scott Terry of Seattle.

Graveside services be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, at Fern Hill Cemetery in Menlo, Washington.
