Patricia Marie (Nordloh) Sweet, 66, a longtime resident of Westport, Wash., passed away on July 1, 2017, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital due to complications of pneumonia.
Pat, (as she was known by family and friends) was preceded in death by her father Victor E. Nordloh and her mother Margret Roselyn Nordloh both of Westport.
Pat was born in Encampment, Wyo. She graduated from Poudre High School.
Pat and William (Bill) Sweet married Aug. 9, 1982.
Pat is survived by her husband William (Bill) Sweet; sons, Ronald G. Wood, (Jen) of Fort Collins, Colo. and Anson E. Wood (Marcie) of Seward, Alaska; brothers, Martian E. Nordloh (Lenora) of Ariz. and Lynn O. Nordloh (Karen) of Olympia, Wash.; grandson Drake Wood of Colo.; granddaughter Briana Wood of Colo. Pat has numerous aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law across the Northwest and Midwest.
She was involved in many community activities over the years, her favorite being the Art Festival, helping the Pirate Days Parade, she was a lifetime member of the VFW. Pat worked several jobs, the fish cannery, she was a waitress at Dees Cafe, and teller/manager at Anchor Bank. Pat was a happy soul that loved the outdoors, she loved walking on the beach, fishing on the river, hunting with her husband. She love doing arts and crafts, crocheting and painting and her animals, especially her chickens. She loved giving away the eggs her chickens laid. She loved traveling around to visit family and friends and seeing new places. Pat made the best pumpkin rolls during the Holidays and they will be sorely missed. She was taken away way to soon and will be missed by many.
We will be having a memorial potluck at the Ocosta Rec Hall on Oct. 7, at 11 a.m.
Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen, Wash.
