In loving memory

Patricia Lee Ward was born to William Lester Collins and Margaret Ruth Tousley Collins on January 18, 1933, in Burns, Oregon, and lived in California before joining her daughter, Joy Iversen, in McCleary, Washington, in 2002.

She passed on to the next life March 25, 2020, at Summit Pacific Medical Center in Elma, Washington, with her daughter at her side.

She loved life. If you talk to any of her friends or her family, they will tell you about a witty, very strong, friendly, outspoken and outgoing woman.

When Pat moved to McCleary, determined to create her own network of friends, she joined the McCleary Friends of the Library, the McCleary Book Club and then the Red Hat Ladies. She loved her social time with these ladies.

In McCleary, she gained a new “daughter,” Linda Thompson, who became as close to her as any daughter could. Linda spent a great deal of time with her and helped care for her in later years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and former husband, Edward Douglas Ward.

She is survived by her daughters Deborah Joy Iversen and Elizabeth Ayn (Glen) Spring, grandchildren Heather (Ryan) Moore, Joshua Iversen, Jakob Iversen and Trenten Iversen, great-grandchildren, Ella, Aubrey and Olivia Moore and former son-in-law, Eric (Erica) Iversen.

Pat lived a happy full life. As she is being welcomed by her family in heaven she will be missed greatly by her family and friends here on earth.

She will be laid to rest in the McCleary, Washington, Cemetery. Once restrictions are lifted, a celebration of her life will be scheduled.
