Patricia Lea Bosler, 78, of Elma, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016 at her home in Elma.

Patricia Lea Bosler, 78, of Elma, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, at her home in Elma. Patty was born in Bozeman, Mont., April 13, 1938, the daughter of Glenn Clarence and Loretta Agnes (Manlove) Ford. After the family came to Grays Harbor she attended Elma High School and was married to James Edward Bosler in Elma on April 1, 1955.

She worked at the Elma Variety Store for many years and cared for her family. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and family, engaging her grandchildren in crafts, painting, drawing, playing in tents, forts and even a large dog house. They also took walks on the property, poking slugs, feeding the ducks and the horses.

Patty enjoyed watching Disney movies and collecting Disney trinkets with her grandchildren. The Bosler family enjoyed many years at the Elma races. She also enjoyed gardening, blackberry picking, clam digging and baking pies.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, James, at the family home in Elma; a daughter: Janet Warren, Tacoma; two sons: George Bosler, Elma and Mark and wife Teri Bosler, Elma; three brothers: Ronald Ford, Rochester, Wash., Darrel Ford, Edmonds, Wash. and Bernard Ford, Marysville, Wash.; and a sister: Janet Hall, Palm Springs, Calif.; and grandchildren: Krissie and husband Johnathan Taylor, Knightdale, N.C., Donald and wife Shari Warren, Bellevue, Wash., Amy and husband Kelly Bosler, McCleary, Angela Bosler, McCleary, Mark Bosler, Elma and Jesse Bosler, Elma; and a great-grandchild: Elijah Warren, Knightdale, N.C. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Loretta Ford and a grandson: Samuel James Warren.

A celebration of Patty’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4 at the Elma Eagles, 404 W. Young St., Elma. A card of condolence with a message or a memory may be sent to the family at www.fernhillfuneral.com.
