Pamela “Pam” Annette Fox, age 59, passed away peacefully from COVID-19, Sept. 28, 2021.

Pamela “Pam” Annette Fox, age 59, passed away peacefully from COVID-19, Sept. 28, 2021, in Harbor Regional Health Community Hospital.

Pam was born in Sacramento, California on Sept. 17th, 1962 minutes before her twin sister Patricia Isdell, and grew up in Citrus Heights, California. She had three brothers, and two sisters.

She graduated from El Camino High School in 1980. Pam went to beauty school promptly after to receive her hairdressing license, before serving in the military at Lackland Air Force base in San Antonio, Texas, as a small arms instructor. She was honorably discharged in 1982, after which she went to receive her degree in nursing from American River College.

Pam worked at Sutter Memorial Hospital in the ICU , and was known to be very hardworking. After her walking had become too impaired to continue working in the hospital, she did home health for several years before retiring when she moved to Hoquiam in 2016 and started doing artwork independently.

She enjoyed painting and most of her artwork was of wildlife, primarily sea life. She had a special love for marine life, and her colorful work was beloved by many. Additionally, she enjoyed going to the beach, spending time with her family, and occasionally baking with blackberries she’d picked. Pam was known to have quite the sweet tooth and her favorite candy was See’s chocolate, favorite foods were cake and pudding and she occasionally enjoyed mochas.

She was a big fan of the art of Gustav Klimt and Robert Wyland. She loved the blues and one of her favorite artists was John Hiatt. Her favorite time of year was Christmas, as is fitting of the generosity she was known for.

She was preceded in death by her father George Isdell Sr. and her twin sister Patricia whom she both loved so much. She is survived by her two sons Joshua Fox and Samiel Fox, and her husband of 19 years Jim Fox.

A memorial flyer will be sent out to all friends and family to honor her memory, and a memorial will be built on the property of the family.
