Otto Joseph Aldridge

Otto Joseph Aldridge was born on Aug. 17, 1945 in Aberdeen, Washington and left this earth on June 28, 2021. He was at Avalon Health and Rehab Center in Aberdeen.

His parents William and Mary Aldridge preceded him in death.

Otto was a very loving and caring person.

Otto (Joe, as some called him) loved fishing, camping, hunting, rock-hounding and clam digging.

Otto married Karroll A. Walker Aldridge in 1971. He helped raise her four children: John, Janet, Patricia and Diana Walker in Carlisle.

Karroll died in 2015, and he was also preceded to heaven by John Walker, Janet Jordan and Diana Macy preceded him to heaven. Patricia Jones in the only child living.

He had seven siblings — two brothers and five sisters.

He was preceded in death by brother Otto J. Fitterer Jr and three sisters: Beverly, MaryAnn and Kate. He is survived by brother Frank Fitterer (Gloria) of Hoquiam and sisters Carol and Jean of Westport.

Otto had seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

Otto was a member of the Chehalis Basin Association and Pogie Club.

Otto will be greatly missed. There will be a celebration of life at a date to be determined.

We all miss Otto.
