Centenarian Miranda Clark, longtime resident of Hoquiam, Washington, passed away on Feb. 7, 2022. She was born in 1921 in Robinson, North Dakota, the youngest of seven children.
At age 20, she moved to Washington state to be with her brothers and sisters who had come out west earlier. She worked in the plywood industry for a few years in what is known as the industrial area of Aberdeen/Hoquiam. While there, she met and married Richard Clark, who preceded her in death in 2001.
Miranda is survived by her four children: Duane, Robert, Jack and Francis, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, all of whom will greatly miss her.
At Mrs. Clark’s request, there will be no services and she will be laid to rest alongside Richard at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Hoquiam.
