On April 4, 2022, Michael Richard Giron passed away at the age of 55 from a heart attack. Mike was born Nov. 2, 1966, in Aberdeen, Washington. He was born to Dick and Bonnie Giron.

He graduated in 1986 from Weatherwax (Aberdeen) High School. After, he attended Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and went to work for the family business, Wiitamakis, serving the Harbor nearly 40 years. Mike also owned Juicy Tan for 9 years.

He was previously married to Christi Sayers and Dawn Johnson. In 2009 he married the love of his life, Diane Major Giron. Mike and Diane were happily married for 13 years at his time of death. They blended their two families into one beautiful family.

Mike was an avid racquetball player. He was taught by Doug Moore in high school. As an adult he taught lessons at the YMCA and played recreationally. In his later years he played pool at the Ace of Clubs with his many friends. His highlight was teaching his son how to play.

He had several hobbies which included cruising with his brother Frank looking for Sasquatch, spending evenings at the Ace of Clubs with his wife playing pull tabs, scouting for elk out the Wishkah and Quinault, kayaking with his kids and gardening. He also loved to cook. He would always provide breakfast and dinner for the bartenders at the Ace of Clubs and Rob at Liberty.

Mike loved his community. He touched many lives with his generosity and passion for life. Mike especially will be remembered for his thoughtfulness and kind-hearted spirit that served to strengthen everyone he met. He was a big supporter of shopping local. A devoted husband, father, grandpa and poppy.

Mike is survived by his wife Diane Giron of Aberdeen, Washington; son Taylor Giron of Aberdeen, daughters Alexa Giron (Jake Myers) of Montana; Janna (Adam) Kemp of North Carolina and Ricki (Mark) Schlott of Aberdeen, six grandchildren: Connor, Ava and Carleigh Kemp and Parker, Noah and Liam Schlott; brother Frank (Mary) Hermsen of Aberdeen and sisters Sherri (Kenny) Hughes of Aberdeen and Peggy (Rich) Klinger of Montesano.
