Melvin Edgar Pfel “Mel”, age 75, passed away Dec. 11, 2018, at his home in Aberdeen, Wash. He was born April 22, 1943, in Eugene, Ore. to Melvin Edgar Pfel and Ella Hayter. He spent his younger years in Oregon.

He was in the Navy and Army National Guard. He worked as a chef, a carpenter and all around businessman.

He will be missed by his wife, sisters, daughters, sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many friends.

A celebration of life will be posted in Spring.
