Melanie Tonya (Lowe) Stella

Melanie Tonya (Lowe) Stella passed away suddenly due to a pulmonary embolism on April 30, 2022, at 48 years old leaving behind her friends, her family, her husband of 23 years and her 16-year-old son.

She was born in Aberdeen, Washington, the first child of Jerry and Doreen Lowe and grew up in Westport, Washington. She graduated from Ocosta High School, Western Washington University, and cum laude from Gonzaga University where she was the managing editor of the Gonzaga Law Review and earned a Juris Doctor degree. She went on to establish and take the helm of Stadium Law Group in Tacoma.

Melanie was a beloved mama, wife, daughter, sister, auntie, friend, helper and associate. Her frequent laugh invited everyone to laugh along with her, and she was a woman of great wit and warmth who was always nice to the waiter and tried to make the world a better place. She gave the very best hugs, personal guidance and top notch legal advice.

She is survived by her parents Doreen and Jerry Lowe, her husband, Brian Stella, her son, Michael Stella, and her siblings, Kira DeRito, Gabriel Lowe and Jacob Lowe.

A celebration of life service will be held by Melanie’s church family at UMC Light of the Hill in Puyallup on May 15, 2022 at 1 p.m. Seating will be limited, and we invite you to join us via Zoom at:
