Mary Louise Thayer of Central Park, Wash. went to be with her husband in Heaven on July 21, 2017, with both of her daughters at her side.

Mary Louise Thayer of Central Park, Wash. went to be with her husband in Heaven on July 21, 2017, with both of her daughters at her side.

She was born in Great Falls, Mont. on July 19, 1927, to Cecile Evelyn and Walter George Tronson.

She married the love of her life, Edward Erle Thayer, on April 30, 1945, at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Loris and Jack Thayer, in Aberdeen.

They were blessed with three daughters Darcy Lorraine Greenhouse of Tumwater, Catherine Cecile Basile (deceased), and Patricia Irene Thayer of Central Park. Mary also had seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Mary put her family above everything, visiting her children and grandchildren often.

She enjoyed her reading, gardening, Driftwood performances and community concerts. She also liked her Seahawks and Mariners, sewing, knitting, canning from her garden, and casino slots.

There will be a graveside service at the Masonic Cemetery in Elma at 2 p.m. on Aug. 4, 2017. Following will be a potluck celebration of life at the Stay Beyond Inn & Suites by the Elma Fairgrounds.
