Marvin Lee Moody, 59, Cosmopolis resident and former security guard, passed away on Wednesday. June 30, 2021, at his home.
Marvin was born on May 29, 1962, in Aberdeen to Wilbur Marvin and Dorothy L. (Frye) Moody. He attended school in Aberdeen. He married Mary Katherine Fisher in Maple Valley, Washington on June 24, 2002.
Marvin worked several jobs including a bouncer, a car repo and as a security guard. He was a good mechanic. He enjoyed going to Denny’s (his office) and visiting with patrons even if he didn’t know them. He was a member of many different churches in the area.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Mary K. Fisher of Columbia Falls, Montana and a half-brother Mark (Eve) Moody of Ohio.
There will be a celebration of his life on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 12:15 following regular Sunday service at Light and Life Church in Hoquiam, Washington.
Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.
