Mark Lynn Norberg passed away on Oct. 22, 2016. By his side was his loving lady friend, Marilyn Drake.

Mark Lynn Norberg passed away on Oct. 22, 2016. By his side was his loving lady friend, Marilyn Drake. Mark was born in Everett, Wash. on Jan. 22, 1954, to John and Beverly (Johnson) Norberg.

Mark attended Everett schools growing up and he was a member of The Boys Scouts of America, Troop 1. He attained the rank of Eagle Scout and attended the 1971 Boy Scouts of America World Jamboree in Japan.

The Norberg family moved to the Harbor in 1971, where Mark graduated from Montesano High School in 1972. Upon graduation, Mark was employed by Weyerhaeuser Pulp Mill in Cosmopolis, Wash. and was an Union member for over 35 years.

Mark truly enjoyed life to its fullest. Always on the go and doing some kind of project: NASCAR, Seahawks, Sonics, Mariners, bowling, concerts, dancing, painting, wood working, clam digging, garage saling, dirt bike riding, floating the Icicle River in Leavenworth, Wash. volunteering at the Montesano Moose Lodge, loved HIS beach, spending time with his dogs, and hugs!

Mark is survived by his father, John Norberg, sister, Kim (Jon) Warne, brother, Scott (Kristi) Norberg, sister, Jan (Jack) VanBuskirk and sister, Lisa (Mark Hall) Rock. He has four nephews and four nieces. Mark is a godfather to one of his nieces, Angie Richardson, which he loved having that honor. Mark also had a very special relationship with his dear Aunt Selma.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly (Johnson) Norberg.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Mark on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016, at 1 p.m. at the Montesano Moose Lodge.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials in Mark’s honor can be made to The Boy Scouts of America, Troop 4007.
