Mark Allan Evans was born in Aberdeen, Washington on Dec. 6, 1950, and died peacefully on Sept. 29, 2021, in Oro Valley, Arizona after an extended illness.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Beverly McWhirk, at the family home in Oro Valley, his sister Marian Evans of Lacey, and brother Kenneth “Kelly” Evans and wife Cyndi of Shelton.

Evans graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1969 and WSU in 1973 — Go Cougs! He was an avid golfer, loved to fish, and enjoyed a successful career in title insurance and county property management.
