Loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend Marjorie Edith Bowe passed away Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2021, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital. She was 88 years old. Marjorie was born on June 26, 1932, to Lawrence and Rudy May in Medford, Oregon.

As a child Marjorie and her family called Warrington, Oregon home. She graduated from Warrenton High School in the class of 1951. During high school she met the love of her life, Leonard Bowe, who stole her heart, and they later married on Nov. 6, 1950, in Stevenson, Washington. In August 1958. Marjorie and Leonard moved to Montesano, Washington where they settled down. Together they had five children, and Marjorie was able to stay home and take care of the kids and their friends.

In Marjorie’s spare time she was an active member of the Moose, Eagles and Homemakers Club. She had several hobbies such as knitting, crocheting, any fancy detailed work, hiking and camping. She also enjoyed baking and cooking for her family and friends.

Marjorie is survived by her children: Mark Bowe of Montesano, Washington; Robert “Bob” Bowe (Marsha) of Aberdeen, Washington; Theresa (Jerry) Pearson of Magnolia, Delaware, and Laurie (Randy) Campbell of Spanaway, Washington; daughter-in-law Cindy Bowe of Montesano, brother Robert (Claudine) May of Warrenton, Oregon; sister Mary Christenson of Talent, Oregon; as well as 17 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Rudy May, loving husband of 60 years Leonard Bowe, and by her son Dennis Bowe, great grand-son Zachary Bowe

Marjorie will be laid to rest with her husband Leonard at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington on June 17, 2021.

Memorials may be made in honor of Marjorie to the Montesano Volunteer Fire Department.
