Margaret Mary Jimenez passed away on May 12, 2022. She was born in Bronx, New York on Dec. 7, 1954 to Henry Patrick Cook and Mary Margaret Flanagan. Margaret was raised in Bronx and San Fernando Valley, California.

Margaret married Jesus Jimenez on April 27, 1974, in California. They were married for 48 years. Together they moved to this area in 1980. She went on to graduate from Grays Harbor College with her Licensed Practical Nursing degree. She worked for Assured Home Health before becoming disabled in 2010.

Margaret enjoyed painting ceramics and spending her time at her kids’ and then eventually her grandchildren’s baseball, football and wrestling matches. She also enjoyed her occasional trip to the casino.

Margaret is survived by her husband Jesus at their family home of 40 years in Aberdeen; sons Joseph (Dawnetta) and John Jimenez both of Aberdeen; daughters Michelle Jimenez and Jessica Castro both of Hoquiam; sister Emily Cook of Aberdeen; brother-in-law Fabian Jimenez of California; grandchildren: Chloe Jimenez, Alyssa Phansisay; Joseph, Mackenzie, Jayce, and Mikha Jimenez; Anna and Jasmine Castro; and Mateo and Devan Jimenez; great-grandchildren: Emmett Jimenez, Karson Phansisay, Maddy Jimenez and Natalie Gates-Jimenez. She is preceded in death by both her parents and grandson Tristen Jimenez.
