Margaret June Haapanen, born Aug. 2, 1932, in Fall City, Washington to Gabriel C. and Kathryn L.M. (Baker) Beglinger, passed away Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019, at the age of 86, surrounded by her entire family.

On Feb. 9, 1951, Margaret married Eldon (Bodie) Haapanen in Montesano, Washington. Except for six years at Copalis Beach, they spent their married life in Porter, Washington. At the time of Eldon’s death in 2002, they were married 51 years. She remained in Porter until her passing.

She is survived by five children: Kathryn Deniese Guinn of Aberdeen, Julie (Dick) Sisk of Elma, Connie Haapanen of Oakville, Randy Haapanen and Nik (Shirley) Haapanen of Porter; 14 grandkids: Heidi Reillo, D.J. Elders, Karla Lengyel, Shannon Rainey, Rikki Sisk, Kristina Haapanen, Kindel Johnson, Scotty Haapanen, Katie Haapanen, Kelly Haapanen, Shayne Morey, Chrystal Lossing, Jimmy Larson and Tim Elders; 18 great-grandkids: Skyler, Katelyn, Kendra, Devin, Faith, Jeremiah, David, Dominique, Jordon, Hallie, Addison, McKenna, Piper, Taylor M., Cheyenne, Jessi, Taylor H. and Katie M.; three great-great’s: Aizlyn, Aurora and Garrett; siblings Howard Beglinger and Wilma Ray; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, to brothers: Louie Morgan and Gabe Beglinger and one sister, Elsie (Suzie) Morgan.

At her request, there will be no funeral or service.
