Lynnette Kiser, 82, passed away in her home on Oct. 28, 2020.

She was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington, June 9 1938, to Clara (Tittle) and Harold Pelley. She graduated from Franklin Pierce High School.

She married Fredric Allen Kiser (July 13, 1934-May 14, 2018) on Feb. 29, 1964. They moved to Montesano in 1971, where they raised two daughters.

She was a wife, mother, homemaker, volunteer, avid card player and the nicest person you had ever met. Lynn had been involved in the Montesano Food Bank since the beginning and in 1991 became the director. She worked tirelessly, making sure anyone who came in to the food bank needing food was taken care of, day or night, any day of the week. She was the director until her physical limitations overcame her and she could not continue, ending her service in 2017.

She loved playing cards, especially bridge, and played in a local group for over 45 years. She never complained and never had a bad word to say about anyone. She is survived by Karolyn (Dan) Hughes of Hamilton, New Jersey, and Kathleen Kiser of Montesano, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Donations may be made to the food bank of your choice.
