Louise Marie York was born Aug. 8, 1931, in Glendale, Arizona to Edward and Kate Warren. She had seven sisters and three brothers, one who survives her, Betty Jean Colton.

She married Glenn York Jr. on Jan. 30, 1949. They were married 58 years. He passed away in 2007. They had four children: Katherine O’Neal; Glenn Edward “Ed” York, who passed away in 2009; Alice Bisbee and Patricia Felker. She had eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on May 31, 1958. She loved the Bible’s hope of a resurrection for the dead and tried to tell everyone she could about it.

She passed away on Sept. 27, 2022.
