Lorraine G. Korlaske died at the age of 90 on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2018, in the Pacific Care and Rehabilitation Center, Hoquiam, Wash. She was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa with six siblings.
Lorraine was married to Harold Korlaske on July 4, 1946, and raised their son Gerald Korlaske in Orofino, Idaho.
She moved to Spokane and then settled in Hoquiam, Wash. where she lived out her life as a devoted Jehovah’s Witness.
Lorraine was very creative with photography and very talented as an artist.
Her family remembers her most for her creative, fun, loving and caring personality with no shade of grey; and was known by family most by her nickname of Tube.
Survived by brother Gene Daniels of Des Moines and sister Dorothy of Oregon; a son Gerald Korlaske of Hoquiam, Wash.; granddaughters: Crystal Ellis and Leanna Korlaske of Spokane, Wash.; and great-granddaughter Dezirae Fichte of Kennewick, Wash.
Memorial service for family and friends will be held at the Hoquiam, Wash. Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at 2 p.m.
Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen, Wash.
