Leonard Wayne “Putter” Bialkoski Jr., lifetime Grays Harbor resident and former logger, died Monday, March 11, 2019, at his home in Elma, Washington.

Leonard Wayne “Putter” Bialkoski Jr., lifetime Grays Harbor resident and former logger, died Monday, March 11, 2019, at his home in Elma, Washington.

Leonard was born on April 13, 1964, in Aberdeen to Leonard W. and Betty (Kitchen) Bialkoski Sr. He grew up in Montesano and graduated from Montesano High School.

Putter worked in the timber industry for most his life as a logger. He also worked for Holbrook Logging in Olympia.

He was married to Dawn Kleompken and together they had three children. They later divorced.

Putter enjoyed fishing, hunting, clam digging and panning for gold.

He is survived by a son, Nathan (Haley) Bialkoski of Old Fort, North Carolina; two daughters: Cheyenne Bialkoski of Pascagoula, Missippi and Katrena (Jeffery) Rench of Tacoma; two grandchildren: Kali Rench and Brentlee Bialkoski and one on the way; a cousin, Leon Bialkoski on Montesano.

There will be a celebration of Putter’s life on Sunday, March 17, at 1 p.m. in the Montesano Moose Lodge.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen, Washington.
