Lee Stillwell of Shelton, Wash., passed away Friday, June 16, 2017, with his loving wife by his side.

A celebration of Lee’s life will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 25, in the reception hall near their home in Christmas Village, Shelton, WA 98584.

Lee was born Feb. 15, 1940, in Lebanon, Ore., to Emil Arthur and Marcella Stillwell. He was a member of the Hoquiam High School, class of 1959. In November of 1958 he married the love of his life, Beverly Love, in Hoquiam, Wash. Shortly after their marriage, they moved to Redmond, Ore., where Lee was employed at a local dairy. But Lees love of his family called them back to Grays Harbor, where Lee and Bev made their home for several years.

Lee had many hobbies that he passionately shared with his friends and family. But, his love of old cars was his greatest passion. His career was also lead by his love of cars, owning and operating Lincoln Street Texaco, in Hoquiam, Wash. for several years. Again, led by his love of cars, his desire to serve and help others. Lee made a career change from the service station to that of a Farmers Insurance Agent. He served the Shelton community loyally for 35 years, before he retired in 2013.

Lee also enjoyed spending time with his family, Sunday family BBQ’s, or heading to pizza held a special place in his heart.

Lee is survived by Beverly (Love) Stillwell his wife of 58 years, his three children Debra Tierney (Charles) of Ellensburg, Wash., Jay Stillwell (Teri Miller), of Shelton, Wash. and Donald Stillwell (Dori Kok) of Kalama, Wash. Lee has seven grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Marie Anderson (Pete) and Ellen Buckner (Dave), and his mother Marcella Stillwell.

Lee was preceded in death by his father Emil Arthur Stillwell, two brothers Roy Emil Stillwell and Marvin Lester Stillwell, and a great-granddaughter Taylor J. Iverson.

It is the wishes of his family that rather than flowers, donations be made in Lee’s name to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
