Laron “Larry” Jack House, age 76, passed away on Jan. 17, 2023, at the family home. He was born May 5, 1946, in Aberdeen, Washington.
He attended Cosmopolis Grade School, Miller Junior High, and was a 1964 graduate of Weatherwax High School. Larry then attended the University of Washington, before enlisting in the U.S. Navy. He served on the USS Enterprise during the Vietnam War. He was a lifetime member of the Aberdeen VFW Post #224 and a member of the Montesano Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his wife Jenny, children: Lisa (Shawn) Atkinson, Lynsi Polanco, Kevin (Andrea) House, Matt House, Shawn Murphie and Ariel Murphie, sister Sally (Larry) Holt, grandchildren: Ember (Daniel) Raney, Chad McLaughlin, Jasmyn Polanco, and Quinn and Piper House; and great-grandchildren Hennaly and Ryden Raney, Ethan and Chad Jr. McLaughlin. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Alice House, sister Sandy Simpson and brother Bill House.
A public celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023, from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Montesano Moose Lodge.
