Lael Christine Hyvonen, 25, Hoquiam resident and cashier at Simpson Street 7-11, died Saturday, June 10, 2017, at her home in Hoquiam, Wash.

Lael was born on March 21, 1992, in Olympia, Wash., to Matt William Hyvonen and Angela Renae Cabe. She grew up in Aberdeen and attended school in Aberdeen. She worked for 7-11 as a cashier at both the Simpson Ave and Central Park stores for the last year. She had also worked for McDonald’s in Ocean Shores for 4 ½ years.

Lael enjoyed spending time with her kids and family.

Lael is survived by her two children: Evan Meade and Ellie Meade of Hoquiam; her mother Angela Cabe of Aberdeen and father Matt Hyvonen of Modesto, Calif.; a grandfather Jeffrey Testerman of Hoquiam.

There will be a memorial service for Lael on Monday, June 19, at 3 p.m. at Fern Hill Funeral Home.
