Kent W. Schumacher Sr. died Feb. 16, 2022. He was 84.

Kent is survived by his three daughters and a son: Sheila Brett of Anchorage, Alaska; Helena Pratt of Tenino, Washington; Kent Schumacher Jr. and Simone Sconone of Bonney Lake, Washington; and significant other Roxanna Jackson of Moclips Washington. Kent is also survived by many grandkids and great-grandkids.

Kent was a veteran serving in the Army for 11 years. Kent was also a volunteer to many organizations of Cosmopolis, Aberdeen. Kent was a volunteer firefighter, police volunteer and did work with the senior citizens organizations. Kent also did volunteer work with Stafford Creek. Kent enjoyed giving back to his communities. Kent worked at Weyerhaeuser Pulp Mill for many years. Kent also did volunteer for American Legion as a color guard. Kent enjoyed helping and giving back to his fellow veterans.

These organizations will miss him dearly. Kent will be truly missed by his family friends and all that knew him. Rest in peace. We love you. A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.
