June Irene Mathison, a 74-year-old resident of Hoquiam, Washington peacefully passed away on Thursday June 17, 2021, surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born on Sept. 18, 1946, to Earl and Rose McCain in Morton, Washington.

During her childhood, June was raised in Morton and Randle, Washington and had attended schools in Morton. After high school June moved to Grays Harbor and later resided in Hoquiam. June worked as a bartender for many years. She worked at Mal’s Tavern and other establishments on the Harbor. June also worked at Olympic Rentals as a property manager for 10 plus years.

In June’s spare time she enjoyed many hobbies such as, home decorating, crocheting, sewing, painting, camping, gardening and much more. June loved to spend her Friday night’s at the casinos.

June is survived by her children: Charles E. Floyd, Dennis R. Floyd, Nile A. Floyd and Brandi M. Bonillas, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. June is also survived by her significant other of 34 years George McGiveron.

She is preceded in death by her parents Earl and Rose McCain.
