Judy Harris, age 61, died unexpectedly Jan. 14, 2019, at her home in Westport. She was born in Aberdeen to Frank and Betty Harris on Sept. 3, 1958.

Judy married Steve Jones, but later they divorced but remained friends. Together they had two children.

Judy loved to karaoke, go camping, collecting dolls, playing card games and Yahtzee and making jewelry with her beads. She also had a large collection of rocks from all the trips to the beach. Her best times were spent with her family — she was a mother, grandmother and a great-grandmother. Her friend Dan was also there helping her. Together they got a little rescue dog. He was also at Judy’s side.

She will be very much missed.

Judy is survived by her daughter Stephanie; son Steven; sisters Patricia Koerner, Joan (Dave) Jester; brother Randy Harris; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; aunts, uncles, nieces and a nephew. Judy is preceded in death by her father and mother, brothers David and Alan and a sister Debbie.

Cremation arrangements are by Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.
