Joseph O Ross, 90, of Montesano, Washington, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2020, in Spokane, Washington, from heart failure and dementia.

Lifelong resident of Grays Harbor he was the son of Walter and Nellie Ross of Hoquiam.

He is survived by his daughter Kathy Martin and sister Marlene McDougall. He has two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Janet Lee and brother Walt Ross of Twin Falls Idaho.

As a Korean War veteran he was active at the VFW in Montesano. He retired from Grays Harbor Paper in Hoquiam. His hobbies included gardening, cooking, bird watching, and carving. Many of his friends and neighbors can attest to his cooking and carving skills.

There will be a get together sometime this summer at the Country Estates Club House in Montesano. Details to come later.
