Joseph E. Springer passed away July 17, 2016, at his home in Tillamook, Ore., at the age of 71. He is now at peace with our Lord.

He was born and raised here, graduating from Wishkah High School in 1963; where he played football and basketball. He enjoyed reminiscing with friends about their fun times.

He was an avid bowler, winning his 300 ring; which he was very proud of. He also loved to fish, hunt, shoot pool and play cards; especially Texas Hold Em.

He is survived by his wife Barb in Tillamook; a daughter Jenna (Rick) Green; a son Robert Springer and six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother Ray Springer; two sisters Saundra Hutsell and Leona Bishop and many nieces and nephews. His mother, father, a brother Ed and a son Joey died before him.

There will a celebration of life potluck at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 21, at Saron Lutheran Church in Hoquiam. Please come and share memories of Joe.
