Jonathon Charles Williams

Jonathon Charles Williams

It is with great sadness that the family of Jonathon Charles Williams, a father, a brother and son passed away at the age of 39 at the Swedish Medical Hospital in Seattle on Friday June 18, 2021, with his family by his side.

Jonathon was born July 12, 1981 at Gray Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen, Washington to Bruce Clark Williams Jr. and Madge Ellen Sharp Williams.

Jon attended St Mary’s Catholic school in Aberdeen and graduated from Hoquiam High School. He spent his life in the restaurant business with his last 12 years as a chef at the Lake Quinault Lodge.

Although Jon was a quiet man, he would always let you know where he stood. He was never willing to compromise his principles to fit in. Honesty was paramount to him. Lying was just something he could not do. But foremost, Jon was kind. It was who he was and how he carried himself. His slight chuckle at just the right time always brought a smile to those around.

Above all, Jon adored his children Magdaline and Tailor. The bond they shared was unbreakable and something they will never lose. Jon was a father first, everything else came second. His memory and love will live on with them forever.

Jonathon is survived by his precious children Magdaline Marie Williams and Tailor Ann Williams, his father Bruce Clark Williams Jr., his many siblings: Michelle Beth Jones, Tina Marie Williams, Jennifer Ellen Knokey, Dustan Clark Roger Williams, Elizabeth Anne Williams, Nathan Lowell Williams, Robert James Williams, Katelynn Mary Williams and Lacie Marie Williams. Jon will also be forever remembered by his numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Jon was preceded in death by his mother Madge Ellen Williams and sister Therese Abbi Williams.

There will be a recitation of the rosary at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at the Coleman Mortuary Chapel in Hoquiam. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Our Lady of Good Help Catholic Church in Hoquiam. An urn committal will be held at the Satsop Cemetery.
