John Richard Erickson, age 55, a lifetime resident of Elma, died on Dec. 13, 2021, in Vancouver, Washington. John was born on Dec. 30, 1965, in Aberdeen, Washington to Melvin and Sandra (Wicklund) Erickson. He attended Elma Schools and graduated from Elma High School in 1984.

At the time of his death, John had worked for Simpson Door in McCleary for 22 years.

Surviving relatives include his brother Donald Erickson of Elma; and aunt and uncle, Richard and Sandy Wicklund of Aberdeen and cousins, Karen Salvadalena of Louisville, Kentucky and DeAnna DuBreuil of Sammamish, Washington.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his older brother David in 1978.

A visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021, at the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021, at Hoquiam’s Sunset Memorial Park.

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
