John Marvin Moe was born Dec. 7, 1949, in Elma, Washington, to Edna Lucille (McMaster) and Fredrik Herman. Moe passed away on Jan. 28, 2020, at his home in Oakville, Washington.

John graduated from Oakville High School in 1968. As a teenager he worked at Bo Hadley’s Garage.

His working career was in the lumber industry. He drove log truck for Boyd Zepp, F.G. Peterson, Rolfe Moe, Fred Moe and others. John was also the owner/operator for M2 trucking.

He enjoyed his family, friends and little dogs.

He is survived by his son Douglas (Elizabeth) Moe of Richland; brothers, Rolfe (Myrna) Moe of Montesano, Washington, Erik (Susan) Moe of Oakville, Washington; sisters Sonja Roderick of Edmonds, Washington, and Kristie (Ed) Danzer of Tenino, Washington, as well as one granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Edna and Fredrik Moe, brother Fredrik Moe and sister Edelyn Moe.
