John Eldon Carter a resident of Hoquiam passed away peacefully on Dec. 20, 2018. He was born on Sept. 25, 1935, to John W. and Florice (Stutesman) Carter.

John graduated from Wishkah High School in 1953 and spent two years in the U.S. Army with overseas duty. He retired in 1992 after a long career at the Aberdeen Post Office.

John loved cowboy movies, singing and raising many horses throughout the years.

He is survived by his wife Sheri (Pellegrini) Carter, his children Cheryl (Pat) Gochnour, John (Pam) Carter, Valerie Barton, Dennis Barton, Michele Barton, AnJanette (Jim) Gleave and many extended family members

No service is planned, the family had a celebration of life party in November.
