Jim Kiliz was born in Aberdeen, Washington, on May 14, 1945, and passed on Sept. 21, 2020.

He grew up in Montesano, Washington. He attended the University of Washington, majoring in art and architecture.

He was a man of many talents, who designed and built houses, did CAT work, played trombone and guitar and sang and wrote songs. He loved to snow and water ski, to play golf, garden, to tell stories and dance. He did everything with great passion and enthusiasm. Jim left behind his wife of 54 years, Deanna, his son, Jake and wife Shawna and three grandchildren: Jimmy and wife Shelby; Ashley; and Kayla and husband Clay, his great-grandchildren Carter and Ezra, and his sister Ann.

He was much loved and will be greatly missed.
