Jewel Elizabeth Boys, 75, of Montesano passed away Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital.

Jewel was born Jan. 14, 1945, in Concord, California, to Walter and Pauline Youles.

She graduated from Enumclaw High School.

Jewel married Paul Boys on Oct. 29, 1966, in Fort Knox, Kentucky. He survives her at the family home. They moved around a lot during the years that Paul was in the military and settled in Montesano 21 years ago.

Jewel was a member of St. John’s Altar Society and was involved in the Montesano Food Bank and Montesano Senior Center. She loved reading books, puzzles and especially volunteering.

In addition to her loving husband, Paul Boys Sr., she is also survived by son Paul Boys Jr. of Enumclaw, Washington; two daughters, June Boys of Aberdeen and Nichol White of Spokane, Washington; sister Pauline Brant of Tacoma and one grandchild.

She will be laid to rest at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020, at Elma Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Montesano Food Bank or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
