Jeanette (Utheim) Boley, age 74, unexpectedly passed away March 23, 2023 in Tacoma, Washington.

Jeanette (Pokey) was born Dec. 11, 1948 in Aberdeen, Washington, to Oscar and Georgia Lee Utheim. She grew up in the Aberdeen-Montesano area and graduated from Montesano High School in 1967.

Jeanette was a long time McCleary resident where she started her own family, working at Beechwood nursing home as an activities director in Elma. She also resided in Shelton for a short period of time where she was employed at Certified Aerospace.

Jeanette later met her loving husband Glen Boley, and in 2007 they married and built their forever home on Strawberry Hill in Elma, WA.

Jeanette was extremely passionate about spending time with her family. She enjoyed fishing, camping, shopping and going on road trips.

Jeanette radiated love and laughter to all those who knew her.

Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren meant the world to her, She was extremely proud of them.

Jeanette touched many lives with her generosity and passion for life, She will be forever loved and deeply missed.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Georgia Lee Utheim, sister Diane Coppin; brother Stan Utheim; and daughter Shelly Garlick.

She is survived by her husband Glen Boley; daughters Chrissy Johnson (Todd Johnson), Angie Lund (Mike Lund) and daughter-in-law Holly Charlton; sisters Shirley Rhodes, Sue Handley (Jack Handley) and Pat McKay (Don McKay); brother Mike Utheim (Sharon Utheim); grandchildren Joshua Hartford, Amanda Craig, Megan McDougal, Zachary Lund, Rashell Rivera and Ryan Johnson; great-grandchildren Juliana, Jackson, Ryder, Liam, Lillien, Leilani, Elijah, Hailey, Kylee, Courtney and multiple nieces and nephews.

We will be gathering to share some of our favorite memories, our stories and to remember an amazing person who will be greatly missed.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Fern Hill Cemetery, 2212 Roosevelt St., Aberdeen, WA.

Reception to follow at 23 Windy Ridge Lane, Elma, WA.
