Janice Louise Cornett

Janice Louise Cornett, 77, Grayland resident, was born on May 14, 1945, in Medford, Oregon, to her parents Morris Jones and Jennie Breeding. Jan grew up in Rogue River, Oregon, alongside her three brothers.

Janice married Joseph “Howard” Cornett on June 29, 1963. They built a beautiful family together welcoming two sons and a daughter to their family: Gary, Tammy and Mark.

Janice’s family has continued to grow. She has three granddaughters, four grandsons, four great-granddaughters, and 4 (very soon to be 5) great-grandsons.

Janice was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She left this world on May 12, 2023. She was surrounded by family and people who love her.

Burial took place at Fern Hill Cemetery, Aberdeen, Washington. Arrangements entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen, Washington.
