James Shane Weber

James Shane Weber was born in Seattle, Washington on Oct. 6, 1966.

James Shane Weber was born in Seattle, Washington on Oct. 6, 1966. He went to Job Corps to learn to weld, got a job at Lemay’s as a welder, then moved up to a truck driver and remained at the company for 33 years until he retired a year and a half ago at the age of 56.

He was preceded in death by his parents Constance Cromwell and Wallace Weber along with his brother Tim Morrison. He is survived by his son Shane Weber, daughter Taylor Weber, and his grandson William Weber (WOW). Also, his brother Bobby Davis along with his sisters Lucy Bowen (Cromwell), Linda Gehring Waite, Carrie Weber and Jessie Weber.

James was 58 years old and died at home while being surrounded by his loved ones on Feb. 3, 2025, after a hard battle with stage 4 lung cancer. He will be missed by so many. His hobbies were fishing, hunting and camping and he loved to read books — mostly western books.

There will be a memorial for James on Saturday, March 22, at the Lions Club in Cosmopolis, Washington at 1 p.m. and all are welcome to attend.
