Howard Dean Emery was born Oct. 9, 1933, in Marysville, Missouri to Joe Emery and Gladys Middleton.

He passed away Feb. 25, 2025 in Olympia.

He worked for Evans Products for almost 20 years.

The family moved to Portland when he was young and that’s where he met his wife Marilyn Marchant. They had three kids: Mike, Pat and Pam, four grandkids and six great-grandkids.

He was known for his love of county music, his storytelling and his generosity.
