Helen Dejillas Ordonio, age 77, passed away peacefully Oct. 24, 2021, in Auburn, Washington.

Helen Dejillas Ordonio, age 77, passed away peacefully Oct. 24, 2021, in Auburn, Washington. She was born on Oct. 8, 1944, in Naga City Cebu, Philippines to Leopoldo Dejillas Sr. and Bienvenida Juarez. She was married on Oct. 2, 1966, to Johnny Auria Ordonio who preceded her in death in 1994.

Helen studied business administration (termed as commerce in the Philippines) and majored in accounting at the University of Southern Philippines (USP), Cebu, City. She loved to love on people all around her. Helen loved reading books, gardening and hanging out with friends and family. She also shared her love for food with family and friends especially during Thanksgiving and Christmas. She was loved and a happy person who loved to laugh.

For many years, Helen worked at Rest Haven Convalescent Nursing Home as an administrator in Aberdeen, Washington. She eventually moved to Kent, Washington taking a job at SeaMar Medical Center and brought her husband Johnny from Aberdeen. Johnny fell ill and passed away later that year. She retired from SeaMar as a billing specialist in 2014.

Helen is survived by her sons: John and Tom, daughter-in-law, Donna; grandchildren: John Jr., Leah, Jasmine, Maki and Jhonna; great-grandchild Josiah. She is also survived by her sisters: Amy, Jurinda and Tess; as well as brothers: Paul and Auddie. Her other brother Alberto preceded her in 2014. She had plenty of close family and friends whom she loved and touched deeply.
