Harvey C. Hunt, born May 2, 1937, passed March 5, 2020. Born to Edward and Freddie Lee Hunt, he went to Raymond High School, graduated in 1955 and then joined the Army in 1955. He was stationed in Japan for 18 months, where he was a captain’s driver. He was discharged in 1957. He worked at Weyerhaeuser for 43 years and also was a school bus driver for Valley school for 12 years. He married Diane Kero Hunt on Aug. 8, 1959.
Harvey loved fishing, hunting and hanging out with all his buddies. They were always helping one another out with their many projects. They were great at everything they did. He loved taking his dog, Lexi, for a walk up on the landing every night.
Harvey and Diane have two daughters, Linda and Jill; four grandchildren, Rod, Robin, Aaron, and Devon; five great-grandchildren, Addison, Brooklyn, Carson, Jaxon, and Parker. He loved them dearly!
We love you and you will always be in our thoughts and prayers.
He is well and whole again, having fun with Teter, Round Eye and Ron.

Preceding him in death were his mother and father, Edward and Freddie, brothers Eugene and Carl, and granddaughter Cassandra.
His memorial will be held on April 18, at 1 p.m. at the Elks Lodge in Raymond.
