Harold Warner Poyhonen, 84, died in Hillsboro, Oregon, on July 23, 2022. Naomi Catherine Colt Poyhonen, 81, died Aug. 6, 2022, also in Hillsboro. They were married 50 years.

They lived in Montesano until March of this year, when they moved to Hillsboro to be near family.

Harold was a graduate of Hoquiam High School, and worked at Posey Manufacturing Company until his retirement in 1993.

Naomi was from Klamath Falls, Oregon, graduating from Klamath Union High School in 1959, She attended Seattle Pacific University, graduating in 1964. She taught school in Montesano for many years until her retirement.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, Sept. 18, at Montesano Presbyterian Church at 11:30 a.m.
